The Landkreuzer P. 1500 Monster (above) and Landkreuzer P. 1000 Ratte were both pre-prototype super-heavy tank designed during World War II, representing the apex of the German extreme tank designs. Both were designed by Krupp and had Hitler himself express interest in the projects, and had a go-ahead granted. But in 1943, Albert Speer, the Minister for Armaments, cancelled both projects.
Above is the 800 mm shell that would have been used for the Landkreuzer P. 1500 Monster, next to a T-34/85
